Introduction
If your Y-axis hotbed endstop has stopped functioning properly causing crashing, and you’ve confirmed it works with a different board, the PCB needs replacing in the endstop assembly.
The filament sensor can work as a test as it should use the same connector and signals, simply introduce filament into the filament sensor to test triggering the y-axis.

Step 1:
Locate the limit switch (endstop) next to the Y-axis motor behind the bed.
Step 2:
Unscrew the screw holding down the endstop bracket to the base frame of the printer.
Step 3:
Unscrew the two screws holding down the cover for the endstop.
Step 4:
Remove the PCB and replace it with the new one.
Step 5:
Reassemble the endstop components in reverse order: first securing the PCB, then the cover and bracket.
