Introduction
This guide provides a step-by-step process to disassemble and replace the heater of your Creality Space PI device.
Important Notes
The Creality Space PI uses glued components extensively, including:
Rubber feet
Screen covers
Plastic details
Exercise caution when removing these parts to preserve the glue for reuse.
Tools Needed
Hex keys or bits (sizes 2.5 and 2)
Phillips Bit/driver PH00
Flathead Bit/Driver 2.5
Longer 2.5 hex key
Guitar pick or prying tool
Low-adhesion glue
Microfiber cloth
Step 1: Remove the Rubber Feet
- Insert the guitar pick under a rubber foot.
- Gently work your way around it to loosen and remove.

Step 2: Unscrew the Bottom Plastic Body
- Use the longer 2.5 hex key to reach and unscrew the bottom body screws.
Step 3: Remove the Screen Cover
- Insert the guitar pick under the screen cover.
- Slowly pry around the cover to loosen it.
- Go slow to preserve the glue for reuse.

Step 4: Unscrew the Transparent Plastic Detail
- Remove the two Phillips head screws holding the transparent plastic detail.
Step 5: Push Out the Transparent Plastic Detail
- Push the detail from the inside to avoid damaging the top clips.

Step 6: Remove the Transparent Plastic Detail
- Once loose, gently pull it out.

Step 7: Unscrew the Screen
- Unscrew the four Phillips head screws securing the screen.
Step 8: Unscrew the Bottom Plastic Body
- Remove the two additional screws holding the bottom body.
- Position the screen between the body to clear the way.

Step 9: Remove the Bottom Cover
- Lift the bottom cover to access the electronic compartment.
Step 10: Disconnect the Heater Cables from the Mainboard and remove the heater
- The Screw Terminals needs to unscrewed when removing the heater cables
- One off the screws is hiding behind the wiring
Step 11: Replace the Heater
- The heater can pushed down, so the fan does not need to removed.
Step 12: Reconnect the Heater Cables to the Mainboard
- Make sure that the wires are properly screwed down in the heater screw terminal
Step 13: Reattach the Bottom Plastic Body
- Align the bottom plastic body with the machine.
- Screw in the two Phillips head screws while ensuring proper alignment.

Step 14: Secure the Screen
- Reattach the screen with the four Phillips head screws.
Step 15: Clean the Screen and Cover
- Use a microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints or dust from the screen and screen cover.
Step 16: Reattach the Transparent Plastic Detail
- Insert the top clips first when reattaching the detail.
- Secure with the two Phillips head screws.
Step 17: Reattach the Screen Protector
- Align the screen protector carefully, ensuring no dust or fingerprints remain.
Step 18: Secure the Bottom Plastic Body
- Screw in the four hex screws evenly to avoid cracking the plastic.
Step 19: Reattach the Rubber Feet
- Apply low-adhesion glue to the feet, as the original glue may not hold.
- Place the feet securely onto the machine.
Step 20: Finalize and Let Glue Harden
- Stand the machine upright and let the glue cure per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
