- Step 1. Unscrew the 2 Screws holding the Front Tool Head Cover
- Step 2. Remove the Front Tool Head Cover
- Step 3. Remove the Extruder Indicator Wheel
- Step 4. Unscrew 2 Screws holding down Extruder Cable
- Step 5. Unplug the all the cables from the Extruder Board
- Step 6. Unscrew the 3 screws holding in the Extruder Board
- Step 7. Remove the Extruder Board and replace it with a new one.
- Step 8. Attach all the cables to the Extruder board.
- Step 9. Screw in the Extruder Cable
- Step 10. Install the Extruder Indicator Wheel
- Step 11. Install the Front Tool Head Cover and screw it in place
- Step 12. Turn on the machine and run Self Test / Calibration.

Introduction
This guide will walk you through the process of disassembling the print head and replacing the extruder board.
Important Notes
- Strong Yellow Glue: The connectors on the extruder board are secured with a strong yellow glue. You may need to carefully cut or gently wiggle the connectors to release them. Forcing the connector could damage both the extruder board and the cable.
Tools needed
2mm Hex Driver or Hex Key
Precision Tweezers (for easier connector removal)

Step 1. Unscrew the 2 Screws holding the Front Tool Head Cover
Use your 2mm Hex driver to remove the screws securing the front cover.

Step 2. Remove the Front Tool Head Cover
Pull the tool head cover towards you to slide it off easily.

Step 3. Remove the Extruder Indicator Wheel
Pull the indicator wheel towards you to remove it.

Step 4. Unscrew 2 Screws holding down Extruder Cable
Use the hex driver to remove the screws securing the extruder cable.

Step 5. Unplug the all the cables from the Extruder Board
Press down on the latch on the connector to release the connector from the Extruder Board.
Important:
The connectors are coated with strong yellow glue, which may make removal difficult. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently cut the glue, or wiggle the connector while pulling gently. Tweezers can help make this process easier.

Step 6. Unscrew the 3 screws holding in the Extruder Board
Use your hex driver to remove the three screws securing the extruder board.

Step 7. Remove the Extruder Board and replace it with a new one.
Take out the old extruder board and replace it with a new one. Secure the new board with the three screws you removed earlier.
Use the photo from Step 6 as a reference

Step 8. Attach all the cables to the Extruder board.
Reconnect all the cables to the new extruder board, ensuring each is seated properly.

Step 9. Screw in the Extruder Cable
Reattach and secure the extruder cable using the screws.

Step 10. Install the Extruder Indicator Wheel
Ensure the extruder indicator wheel is fully seated. If it's not properly aligned, the front tool head cover may not fit correctly.

Step 11. Install the Front Tool Head Cover and screw it in place
Position the front tool head cover back into place and secure it with the screws.

Step 12. Turn on the machine and run Self Test / Calibration.
Power on the machine and run the self-test / calibration procedure. If no errors appear, the replacement was successful!
Your Extruder Board replacement is complete!
