Introduction:

The Creality K1 Series all (as of feburary 2025) use four strain gauges under each corner of the hotbed to determine when the nozzle is contacting while homing and z-levelling. The levelling PCB Adapter Board under the hotbed and the strain gauges themselves can sometimes be defective requiring replacement. You will know if the nozzle continues pushing through the buildplate causing damage while homing/levelling. 

Creality K1 (K1C and K1-SE)

When replacing the strain gauges there are multiple SKU:s to account for. The K1 uses four 3205990550 short cable strain gauge (see below diagram):

However the K1 Max uses two 3205990550 short cable strain gauges at the back, and two 3205990551 long cable strain gauges at the front (see below diagram):
